After their successful combo in Tamil comedy Panchathantiram, Malayalam actor Jayaram has joined hands with Kamal Haasan again to feature in an important role in upcoming film Uttama Villain.
Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, who was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award Saturday, said it was his "good fortune" to get chosen for the award.
"I'll be doing an important part in Ulaga Nayakan (Universal Hero) Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain," posted Jayaram on his Twitter page.
He also posted a picture from the Tamil film's shoot.
Jayaram and Haasan played best friends in Panchathantiram and scenes between them were very well received by audiences.
Uttama Villain is the story of an ageing superstar being played by Haasan, who has also penned the story of the film. Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind is directing it.
Currently on floors in Bangalore, the film also features Haasan's mentor K. Balachander in an important role.
