Highlight Story

Action ReplayyAkshay Kumar-starrer Action Replayy is being touted as one of the biggest releases of next year. The actor’s on-screen chemistry with actress Aishwarya Rai has created quite a buzz, ever since the first look of the film came out. Producer Vipul Shah, too, feels their chemistry will be one of the highlights of the flick.

Set in the 1970s, the film captures the feel on the bygone era and the retro look that was such a major part of it. “Action Replayy is a very special film for me for many reasons. For me to even enter the time when my father-in-law (actor Rajesh Khanna) was such a super star is too amazing to be true. It’s my tribute to the retro era.” said Akshay.

Shah, too, is excited about the project. “Presenting Akshay and Ash in such bright and colorful avatar was a big challenge. They both look absolutely adorable in the look. This is my fifth film with Akshay and my first film with Ash and bringing the two together as a romantic pair for the first time was super exciting,” he said. Akshay and Ash play the role of Kishen and Mala who constant fight with each other.
