One of the bowling Gods of the Indian cricket team, Irfan Pathan is loved by his fans not just for his performance on the field but his great body, dashing looks and his style sense, that make him stand apart off the field. He’s not a brand addict but believes in wearing what gives him comfort.
“Not everyone can be Brad Pitt, but if you believe in yourself, you become more attractive to others, irrespective of what you’re actually wearing,” says Pathan, who featured in the Men’s Health magazine’s latest edition.
Is he a fitness freak? “Indian men are not considered the fittest in the world. And the biggest reason is our delicious food, which is very rich and oily. Also, some of our polluted cities adversely affect our health. I think every Indian needs to exercise and eat right so that we lose the tag of not being one of the fittest countries.” he says.
Who says, it’s only the women who are diet conscious, men too are concerned of their well being today. And Pathan is not an exception to this rule either. He says, “Our nutrition habits continue to leave us confused. But now, I know that eating the right food just a little less than enough is what is good. Also, don’t forget to take that one day a week off from the strict diet. Eat anything you want on that day, it’ll help you eat wiser the rest of the week. Also, staying stress-free is very important, concludes Pathan.
