No mobiles PLEASE!
Toodleee doodlee too doo daa my cranberry pies! Some corporate types are wondering how I can slip into even closed sets.
Well, boys, you are either born with it or not.. charm, that I possess in oodles, is not something that can be cultivated.
The set in question is Balki’s Pa, toplining Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan. Seems, at a recently concluded schedule of the movie at Film City, the use of cell phones was banned.
Itna hi nahin, handsets had to be deposited with the security before anyone stepped on to the studio floor.
Reason: almost everybody in the unit had a cell-phone with a camera.. and the director didn’t want the look of the film and characters leaked out.. before the movie opens in the theatres later this year.
Oooh, I do so love mysteries, don’t you? Even the pa and ma kinds. But if I’m in the mood, I know I can charm my way in, and give you the andar ki khabar. Just you wait and watch dahlings.
Must say Akshay Kumar knows how to balance his personal and professional lives perfectly. The actor ensures that he takes time off for a holiday with biwi and bachcha once in a while.
I’ve just been informed that the Khiladi has planned a chhutti with Twinkle and Aarav in May. Although the exact destination of the family holiday is not yet known, Akki will take off from Morrocco, where he’s performing for this year’s IIFA Awards.
Hmm, must tell my travel agent Chomas Took to get me the details and some exclusive pictures too. Meanwhile, happy holidays.
If I were to give an award to someone for being the most conscientious person on Holi, I’d gladly hand it over to Javed Akhtar.. who chose to return home in an autorickshaw, after celebrating Holi at Prithvi Theatre.
According to my jasoos from Juhu, Javed saab was the life of the celebration.. his rangeen mizaas unmatched by any of the other celebrities around.
He was in high spirits and the other revelers soared with him. But when it was time to call it a day, Javed saab left his car in the parking lot and hailed an auto instead.
Chalo, badhiya hai.
Beti ke liye
Now, a birdy from Andheri’s Lokhandwala Complex wants to tell me about director Murugadoss’ Holi day with his daughter.
Tweety spotted the Ghajini maker trailing his beti in and out of shops, buying balloons and pichkaaris by the dozen.
Really now! Does it look like I care? I’m more interested in knowing about his next movie with Shah Rukh Khan. Especially after his first Hindi movie featured Aamir Khan, whose rivalry with SRK is only intensifying with every passing day.
Tweet tweet.. shoo birdy, I don’t wanna know more about rangs and bhaangs.
Madhu my Mottu Maid is here finally, with my cup of morning tea and a sansanikhez scooplet. Her breaking news of the day is that director Rituparno Ghosh is all set to step in front of the camera, and do some acting shacting.
Seems Ghosh babu is playing a gay character in a Bengali movie whose name Mots can’t recall. Apparently, it’s not the main lead but it is significant to the storyline. Rahul Bose is the protagonist of this Bangla movie and is playing a rather bold part of a hmm.. kaise kahoon?
Eeeeeeeeeeessshhh! Must get Mottu out of my penthouse before she corrupts the place. I’m still an innocent babe in the woods and Mots wants to enlighten me about all this adult talk with such gay abandon? What’s the world coming to? But then, such is life dearies.
