Williams' publicist Mara Buxbaum asserted that the Mrs Doubtfire actor had no financial problems and they should be blessed to have actor's financial status, Contactmusic reported.
"Reports suggesting Robin may have had financial issues are simply false," she added, "I understand people's desire to try to understand this, but we would encourage your focus be on working to help others and understand depression."

According to Buxbaum, Williams frequently said things "in jest" which did not translate well in print, and the comedian took on the TV gig because of show creator David E Kelley and the material, and not to earn more money.
One year before his death, Williams had told Parade magazine that one of the reasons he was selling his estate in US' Napa Valley was because "there are bills to pay" after his two divorces. "Divorce is expensive," he said. "I used to joke they were going to call it 'all the money,' but they changed it to 'alimony.' It's ripping your heart out through your wallet.'"
According to Forbes magazine, Williams' net worth was an estimated $50 million.
