Hollywood actor Russel Crowe is all set to appear on a set of Australian postage stamps featuring him in forthcoming film
The New Zealand-born star who became an Australian citizen in 2006 will be seen walking through Sherwood Forest in one stamp while another one shows him firing an arrow,
The film helmed by Sir Ridley Scott, stars Crowe alongside Cate Blanchett and will open this year's Cannes Film Festival.
A spokesman for Australia Post said the series recognised Crowe's "talent and contribution to the film".
"The release of the film
this month is of global interest and we thought it would be very fitting to pay tribute to this great actor by producing the Robin Hood stamp pack," the spokesman said.
