This noble food for thought has come from Salman Khan. The actor plans to open a chain of restaurants to aid his charity organisation Being Human. And since Salman is besieged with back-to-back film shoots, younger sister Arpita Khan has been asked to helm the new venture.

"Arpita is finding locations for the eateries. Of course, Salman will take the final decision, but she has been meeting property agents regarding the locations. He feels she is the right person for the job because of her knowledge about restaurants," says a source close to the actor.

Salman KhanOn being contacted, Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri confirmed the news. "Yes, Arpita is checking out spots for the restaurants because such things involve a lot of work. And Salman is busy."

Apparently, she has found a few places in Bandra around their residence, besides a few in Khar and South Mumbai. Salman will take the final call on where he wants to set up shop. He will decide on the menu too. Plans to establish the eateries in other cities are in the pipeline as well.

“Salman’s chain of restaurants will never be a commercial venture,” says Atul, who is working with the actor in his latest production, Bodyguard along with Kareena Kapoor. “It will only be directed towards helping Being Human. He wants to bring in help for his charity firm from as many sources as possible.”
