Salsa India Dance Company
Started by Salsa guru Kaytee Namgyal this Salsa-only school in India offers two options to join the classes. While the weekday classes happen twice a week, the weekend class is held on Sunday. Couples get a 10% discount. With studios across Delhi, the institute intends to start a ‘Salsa India Kids Performance Class’.

Ballrumours Dance Sport Studio
This studio offers not only classes in Salsa but also other Latin dance forms. The classes are held across Delhi and cover the NCR region of Noida and Gurgaon as well. The trainers, Aamir Ahmed and Neel Sodhi, ensure that classes here are fun and non-intimidating. They have regular ‘open days’ when you can try out their dance sessions and see for yourself that what dance you would like to learn.

The institute offers regular classes as well as workshops with children and adults. With centres in Vasant Kunj, Vasant Vihar, Gurgaon and Green Park, the classes are conducted in a two-month batch module and culminate in a show at the end of every batch. While the group classes cost Rs 3,000 for two months, the individual classes cost a tad higher. To facilitate personalised attention, the group size is limited to 14-15 people. Couples get a discount of 10%.

Affiliated to the India Peru Friendship Association and supported by the Embassy Of Peru, the institute offers group classes in two batches. While the weekday batches consist of eight classes, twice a week, the weekend batches comprise four classes on Sundays. Apart from Salsa, you can learn a whole range of Latin American dance forms including Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, Mambo from trainers from across the world.

Workshops conducted by The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy include various dance genres. Professional choreographers hold dance classes for two weeks after which a stage show is held, wherein students perform what they have learnt. Since Salsa is a couple dance form, you have to get a partner to take the lessons. Though the classes for this season have have already begun, the
instructors will give you cover up classes.
