Just when you thought that Sanjay Dutt has steered clear of trouble, something fresh pops up. And strangely it's usually gotta do something with his wife Manyata!
This time Manyata’s ex-husband Mehraj Shaikh has accused Dutt of kidnapping his 6-year-old son Mustafa on December 24, last year. Sheikh, who is currently serving term in Arthur Road jail, wrote a letter to the Bombay High Court alleging the same. He even declared that he had earlier written a letter to the NM Joshi Marg police station but there was no response, reported indiainfo.com
According to Shaikh, Dutt got his “underworld friends” to kidnap his son and even threatened to kill him and his family members if he didn’t withdraw his case. Reportedly Shaikh had earlier filed an appeal against the sessions court order exonerating Dutt of bigamy and adultery charge. Shaikh had claimed that his wife, Dilnasheen (Manyata), had not divorced him before marrying Dutt.
Shaikh had been convicted by a Bandra metropolitan court for sending lewd messages to Bhojpuri actress Nagma. He claimed that even in this case, he had been falsely implicated by Dutt who threatened to kill his son if he did not listen to him. In fact, apparently it was Dutt who had instructed him to announce the press meet saying he had divorced Manyata.
