Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will visit the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on January 23 to hold “interactive sessions” with the varsity students, an AMU official said on Tuesday.
“Shah Rukh recently had expressed his desire to interact with the varsity students. In this regard he even contacted the varsity’s vice chancellor PK Abdul Azis,” AMU official spokesperson Rahat Abrar told reporters.
“Lyricist Javed Akhtar and actress Shabana Azmi will accompany Shah Rukh and participate in the interactive sessions,” he added.
“They had not mentioned any particular topic on which they want to interact. So, AMU is inviting them on their personal wishes. Javed Akhtar is also an alumnus of our institution,” Abrar said.
