Even as actor Shiney Ahuja seeks bail for his arrest on charges of raping his maid in June this year, his Bollywood career seems to be inching towards a dead end.

The producers of Shiney’s upcoming film, Chaloo Movie, want the actor’s part to be chopped from the movie. Incidentally, Shiney plays himself in the film.

Director of the film, Vinod Pande however, wants to retain the part and says, “They (production team) said it would be better to cut his part, but I don’t want to. I feel we should not chop it simply because he’s got into a controversy.” The producers Big Pictures, though maintaining the final call hasn’t been taken, insist that considering the present mess the actor finds himself in, it won’t be appropriate to retain his part.

Elsewhere, actor Randeep Hooda has said that his role in his next Love Khichdi “co-incidentally” has shades of Shiney’s real life episode. “I lust after my maid; I am attracted to her. There is a resemblance to Shiney, but this is funny, not sleazy.”
