'So I hear some people in India still eat with their hands' is what Oprah Winfrey said on her show Oprah's Next Chapter: India. After getting flak on Twitter, now Shobhaa De has gone all out to slam the Media mogul.

Shobhaa De (@DeShobhaa) posted on Twitter: "Oprah's Last Chapter! That's what angry Indians r calling the much hyped bt ridiculously shabby show. Oprah has lost her groove. Honey, pack up!"

After Oprah made the remark on the episode which aired last week, Tweeple took her case on the micro-blogging website. %fork and #replacehaathwithfork trended on Twitter.

Oprah's Next Chapter: India aired on TLC on July 20. This remark was made on the segment when she visits an urban joint family in Mumbai. "The joint family which was dressed in full Indian regalia served her a meal on silver thalis and katoris. She looked at the food and then made her best statement of the entire episode - So I hear some people in India STILL eat with their hands," reported First Post.

More on the show

Oprah's Next Chapter is an interview program that allows Winfrey to step outside of the studio for some riveting, enlightening in-depth conversations with newsmakers, celebrities, thought leaders and real-life families.

The decision to launch Oprah's Next Chapter was made after Oprah reflected on her 25 years on television. "After 25 years I got myself out of the studio chairs. I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever - moving around the country and the world talking to people I'm really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too. It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas," said Winfrey.
