Vergara has been dating Loeb for a few years now, and the pair officially stepped out together in 2010.The Modern Family actress, who will turn 40 in July, is not quite ready to have children with Loeb and is considering all of her options.

“I guess I am going to think about freezing my eggs,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling US InStyle magazine.

“I’ve lived a life full of things I never thought I could achieve,” she said of her career thus far. “It takes effort and sacrifice, but why not risk trying to be better?”

Despite her forthcoming big birthday, Vergara - who was born in Colombia and has 19-year-old son Manolo - admits she is not worried about ageing.

‘‘I don’t really care. But doesn’t that sound hideous? I remember thinking when my mother was 40 that she was already done,” she added.
