Back in 2010, Sandeepa Dhar made her film debut in Rajshri Productions’ film, Isi Life Mein, in which Salman Khan had made a guest appearance. That’s the first time she met the actor, followed by another meeting on the Bigg Boss sets, where Sandeepa had gone to promote her film. Yet, none of that had prepared her for sharing screen space with the star. And when that opportunity came with Dabangg 2, Sandeepa got very nervous.

On Sandeepa’s first day on the sets, she was wearing a costume that had a lot of sequins. Coincidentally, that very day, Salman’s younger brother, Sohail Khan had brought his newborn baby, Aslam, to the sets.

“Sandeepa wanted to hold the baby, but she didn’t, because she felt that her abrasive outfit may hurt him. Besides, she was nervous about her upcoming shot with Salman,” says an onlooker on the sets.

That’s when Salman gauged the nervousness of the newcomer. And to put her at ease, “Salman did the most surprising thing. He came up to Sandeepa and gave her Sohail’s baby to hold. She was very overwhelmed with this gesture,” adds the onlooker. Later, Sandeepa spent a major part of the day playing with Sohail’s baby.
