From being a VJ to a singer, dancer and actor,
seems to have done it all. Having spent more than a decade in the industry, she’s also been linked to several names, romantically. But Sophie assures that she is single.
“I’m not dating anyone and even marriage is not on cards yet,” says the 32-year-old, who, however, is clear on what kind of a guy she wants to marry. “I’d want a guy
jo sundar aur sushil ho
,” she laughs, adding, “I don’t want a guy to be a Greek God, but he should definitely be confident and witty”.
A participant on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, Sophie says, “The only man in my life right now is my choreographer, sadly.”
Switching the topic to Bollywood, Sophie, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara (2013), is pepped up about her future Bollywood project but wants to keep it under wraps till the production hits the floor in October.
“You will hear about my next Bollywood project in October. I don’t want to talk about it till the time it goes in production,” she says.
Sophie also feels that things in the Indian music industry have changed a lot since the time she joined in the year 2000. “It is really sad that we don’t have a bustling music industry beyond Bollywood,” she said.
