Special Nihar heena for Aishwarya's hands

Internationaly known Nihar Heena from Sojat in Rajasthan will adore the hands of Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai during her wedding ceremony which start in Mumbai tomorrow.
The manufacturer of this special quality Heena from Pali district, Nitesh Agarwal told HT on phone today that he had sent sixty packets weighing 500 gms each to his agent in Mumabii, who in tun has confirmed the delivery of 15 Kg henna to the Bachhchan family.
He said, “We are in the business since decades and Nihar Heena was sent as a gift to the Bachchan family. Therfeore, we have asked the agent not to charge anything from Bachhans. Earlier this month, our agent had asked us to send samples of the Heena for the approval by the Bachchans. The workers took special pain to pluck the leaves from different areas in Sojat which included Olvi, Palasni, Khariya etc.”
The samples were prepared in the factory which were tested in the local beauty parlour before despatching them to Mumbai on April 16, 2007, he added.
Hira and Lata ,who alongwith several women workers collected the special leaves to manufacture Heena, said, "We hope that Aishwarya will like it as it is a token of respect from the women workers who had plucked special leaves for several days for them,” they said.
