Fans of Spiderman, Iron man, Hulk, Wolverine or any other Marvel comic character have a reason to rejoice. The international company has tied up with a city mall to entertain its young Indian fans this summer.
Not only can the participants win merchandise and go home with their ‘superhero’ caricatures, but they also stand a chance of learning some of Spiderman’s actual stunts from a professional trained in the character's moves.
“He has been trained in signature Spidey stunts by Marvel and he’ll interact with the kids on the event finale on May 29. We’re not revealing his name yet, because it’s a surprise. He may teach them a few tricks too,” says Nishank Joshi, DGM, Corporate Communications, Inorbit Mall.
The activities at the Malad mall will revolve around the popular superhero characters and their tasks as seen in comics and films. The games and areas have been given names like the Hulk zone and the Wolverine zone. And the talent or expertise required to solve the games are similar to the superheroes’ traits.
“We have a 20-foot rock climbing and rappelling wall apart from some self-defence workshops, where people can learn some simple superhero tactics. A caricature artist will also draw your face, on for instance, the body of Hulk, if you win the games,” says Joshi, adding that the last day will also host a superhero fashion show. “Kids and adults can come dressed as anyone. They’ll be given a crash course in walking the ramp. We hope to make them feel like superheroes for a day.”
