In this round of Khan war, both Shah Rukh and Aamir are losers!

Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan who were competing for the Best actor National award for Chak De India and Taare Zameen Par respectively, have lost out to Prakash Raj who has apparently won the award for Priyadarshan's Kanjeevaram.

This would be his second National award. He earlier won the Best Supporting Actor award for Mani Ratnam's Iruvar.

The 55th National Awards, which were to be announced on Friday have now been pushed forward, probably to Monday, because of the tragic death of the Andhra Pradesh chief minister.
