While SRK is back to his routine, Shirish Kunder hasn't got over the Sunday night's misadventure. Sanjay Dutt is busy clarifying that he never punched Kunder.
Shah Rukh Khan:
The actor finally reacted to the incident by tweeting: "Another long nite. Shooting for a public service msg film about education peace & harmony. Feels ironic when I read & see wot is being said."
Shah Rukh is back to his normal life. "Nite shift. Need to get some sleep. Old hindi songs playing as I commute across the sleeping city of Mumbai..Chukar mere mann ko from Yarana," the 46-year-old star posted on the micro-blogging website.
His another tweet read: "Just finished shooting...after a long time shot in the south part of Mumbai. It was beautiful in the morning...our city is awesome !!"
The Joker director, better known as Farah Khan's husband, had posted on Twitter: "Thanks for all your concern & wishes. We are very grateful. Contrary to rumours, we have no intention of filing a FIR or police complaint."
It was also reported that Sanjay Dutt too slapped Kunder for sending lewd messages to his wife Manyata and for misbehaving with a girl at the same party. However, Dutt denied to Subhash K Jha saying: "I didn't join in the fight. I sorted out the fight between Shah Rukh and Kunder."
Whose fault is it anyway?
Version 1: According to reports, Shirish was drunk and followed Shah Rukh everywhere and even entered the loo with him. Irritated SRK then pinned him to a sofa and allegedly punched him. When things got out of hand, Sanjay Dutt had to intervene to stop the brawl. But apparently he too slapped Kunder for sending lewd messages to his wife Maanyata and for misbehaving with a girl at the same party.
Version 2: Subhash K Jha reported: "Guests were having a ball when at around 4.30 am Shah Rukh Khan entered the venue straight after the Filmfare awards with three bodyguards. According to eyewitnesses, he was apparently in an inebriated condition. Soon, he headed towards filmmaker Shirish Kunder and roughed him up."An eyewitness told the film journalist: "We didn't know what was happening. We saw SRK enter. Then we saw him head towards Shirish from behind the director. SRK pulled Shirish down to the ground by his long hair. We were all shocked. We had never seen SRK behave this way before. Before anyone could react Baba Dewan the owner of Aurus ran in and intervened. SRK told Dewan to keep out. Dewan said the place belonged to him and he must intervene. The fight would've been prolonged had Sanjay Dutt not pulled SRK away from the ugly scene."
What the celebs have to say
Shirish Kunder: "Shah Rukh pushed me without any provocation, and he started threatening me for no reason. He pulled my hair ... he was completely drunk and kept repeating, ‘I will destroy you’. I was too shocked to react. Finally, Sanjay Dutt and Baba Dewan (the party’s host) intervened and I left from there."
Farah Khan: "Shahrukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way 2 sort out a problem, n that its means the person who's hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on, n it saddens me 2 see him doing the same (sic)," she SMSed reporters.
Shah Rukh Khan: "There was a disagreement with Shirish, but certainly no assault," he told a TV channel.
Sanjay Dutt’s spokesperson: "Shirish was irritating Shah Rukh by hanging around him and trying to seek attention. Shah Rukh grabbed him and slapped him. Sanju intervened, Shirish left immediately but Shah Rukh stayed on."
Dabboo Ratnani: "I was present at Sanj's party & Without Any Bias I Fully Support Shah Rukh @iamsrk," the fashion photographer tweeted.
