He is just 23-years-old and is considered to be one of the hottest Indian cricketers, but Virat Kohli says he has no plans of entering the film industry. A West Delhi boy, Virat already has to his credit, 12 international hundreds, in a career spanning just over three years. "I am very happy playing and showing off my talent on the cricket field, and have no plans to enter Bollywood," says the cricketer, when asked about his big screen plans.
Known as much for being popular among the ladies, as for his on-field performance, the bachelor tackles lots of female attention on an everyday basis. So how does he deal with it? "It undoubtedly feels nice when you are being appreciated and you get complimented by girls. Who doesn’t like that? Having said that, I don’t take it as any pressure," he adds.
When asked who he thinks are the style icons of the Indian cricketing team, Kohli, who is the brand ambassador of textile brand, Sangam Suitings, says, "I think Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan are very well dressed."
Moving on to his personal life and plans of settling down, he reveals, "I am just 23. I am not averse to being in a relationship but you need to be with the right person. And I am still waiting for the right girl."
On MS Dhoni
I have learnt so much from him. I have spoken to Dhoni a lot about how to control my aggression. I always look up to him.
On his style
I love wearing whatever is comfortable and that could be something which was in trend years ago. So, I don’t follow fashion.
