After Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraj's script has made it to the Oscar library.

Though the film did not succeed commercially, but the criteria of script-selection in Oscar library does not depend on the box-office success, according to sources.

The film is selected mainly on the artistic merits, original screenplay with a substance and the film as a whole, adds the source.

The screenplay of Yuvvraaj has been jointly written by Subhash Ghai, Kamlesh Pandey and Sachin Bhowmick. The story and dialogues were written by Subhash Ghai. The film featured actors like Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Zayed Khan.

While film's music was by AR Rahman, the lyrics were penned by Gulzar.
