Sushmita Sen might not be having the best of times with her films, but that doesn’t prevent the former Miss Universe from being professional.
Reportedly, she recently returned the advance money — or signing amount, in Bollywood parlance — of Rs 21 lakh to producer Vijay Galani, who had signed her up for a film.
The money was returned because Sush was not provided the bound script of the movie on time, as promised.
The actress had initially agreed to do the movie after hearing the narration from the director in August last year. When she signed the Letter of Intent the month after and was paid some advance out of her fee of over Rs 1 crore, it was agreed that a bound script would be sent to her. What she received was a piece of paper in which the director had briefly outlined her role.
