Claiming to be recently wedded Veena Malik’s live-in partner, Prashant Pratap Singh — who runs a digital company in Mumbai — has filed a police complaint against the Pakistani actor.
We bring you both sides of the story, starting with Veena’s...
He's my gay friend: Veena Malik
Reacting to the development, Pakistani actress Veena Malik said, "No one has ever heard of him. He is an employee who worked for me for Rs 10,000 a month. I don’t know why he is saying these things and who has provoked him. He used to look after my digital work ... my Facebook and Twitter page. He is definitely my gay friend and I have such pictures with my other gay friends as well."

Veena further said, "My Pakistani makeup artist is also gay, so should he, too, upload our pics together and say I was his girlfriend? I think he wants money out of me but he will not get a single penny. My luggage is lying in his house because I was paying him 10,000 bucks to keep it in the store room."
"Everyone knows him as my brother. He travelled everywhere with me. These are just fake allegations. I am very happy with my husband (Dubai-based businessman Asad Bashir Khan). I am not the kind to threaten people. He is the one posting pictures on Twitter. Do you think I will take his iPad? I don’t even use a laptop!," she added.I’ll take legal action: Prashant Pratap Singh
Singh said, "Veena and I have been living together for the past one-and-a-half year. In fact, her stuff is still lying in my house. She has not broken up with me. We were going through a rough patch in our relationship because I had caught her chatting with a guy with whom she was cheating on me earlier ... but just two days before her wedding, she told me that she is not seeing anyone."
He further said, "And then I get to know through the media that she is married. After I congratulated her on a news channel, she got scared that I will leak details of our relationship, and that is when she threatened me and then called up my mother and threatened her that she will tell people that I am gay, and defame me. It was because of this that I have released some pictures of us together to prove that I was seeing her. She used to cheat on me and when I asked her why, she said, 'you are ugly'."
Prashant claimed, "I am not so upset about her getting married although we were living together and she was asking me to hurry up my divorce so we could marry. I want her to apologise for threatening my mother, calling me 'gay, brother and her employee', and to return my money that she owes me (Rs 1.5crore) and my iPad and camera that she has taken. I have receipts of all the payments that I have made for her. She says that I am an employee."
"As a boyfriend, I drove her around so she can also call me her driver. She can call me her manager and spotboy too — I used to help her put on her shoes during shoots," he added.
