The world may be talking about her 'closeness' with fellow Bigg Boss inmate Armaan Kohli, but runners-up of TV show Bigg Boss7, Tanishaa Mukherjee, calls him her, “best friend”.
"Armaan is my best friend. He has been very supportive of me, both inside and outside the house. We are close friends, the rest I leave for people to judge," says the
35-year-old sister of film star Kajol.
Defending herself against flak that she did not stand up to Armaan’s aggressive behaviour, she says, "I don’t believe that I was treated like a doormat. If people think that way, it is their opinion and I can’t change that. I know who I am and what I stand for and that is what matters to me."
Tanishaa, who is the daughter of yesteryears' actor Tanuja, also clarifies rumours that her family was against her participation in the show. "My family was never against me doing the show but they were being protective, as any family would be. They wanted to keep me safe as it was an unexplored territory."
Recalling her journey through the show that saw model Gauhar Khan beat her in the finale, she said, "I never thought I would even get this far. Of course, when you enter a game, you want to win it. So I will take my defeat with a pinch of salt."
Tanisha holds ground at the Katghara, accuses Gauahar of bias.
