This year, I’m planning to go shopping for diyas and other decorative items to decorate my house beautifully. The flicker of the diyas in the house and the display of gorgeous fireworks in the night sky is a truly incredible sight! I wish everybody has a wonderful
and a bright Diwali!
Diwali is the festival I always look forward to. Decorations through lights and flowers altogether create quite a beautiful ambience. I, too, decorate my house and try to make some beautiful rangoli. I will be visiting my friends’ place to eat homemade sweets cooked by them.
Diwali is a festival of Laxmi puja, lights, lamps, crackers, lots of sweets and happiness. This is the only time of the year when we can have unrestrained fun and not be reprimanded for acting like a child. Lakshmi Puja forms an integral part of Diwali. Wish you all a happy Diwali and a prosperous year!
For the past 10 years, I have been shooting on Diwali, since I like to work on auspicious days. After my shoot, I perform Laxmi Puja at my house, which is followed by a small family get together. Diwali is about delicious food and family time.
I really like the festival of lights, as it is all about spreading positivity. Diwali is never the same if not celebrated with your family. It is that time when my entire family gets together, first for the Dhanteras puja, and then for the main Diwali puja. We have a family dinner where we get together to burst crackers and gorge on a lot of lip-smacking sweets.
I have always looked forward to festivals ever since I was a kid. This is the only time when the entire family gets together and we all exchange gifts. This year I’m hoping for a day off from the shoot of my TV show a couple of days prior to Diwali, so that I can go shopping for diyas and other decorative items.
As a child, Diwali meant a lot of firecrackers. It has changed from noise to lights, sweets and family bonding. It truly is the happiest festival that I look forward to the most. I hope that this Diwali will give everybody lots of good news.
I will be going to Delhi to celebrate Diwali this year. I am a foodie and have a sweet tooth too! So since I am going home, it’s time for me to get pampered with homemade sweets and delicacies.I am going to forget all my tensions and celebrate Diwali with my cousins and friends.
