Former Indian union minister Shashi Tharoor and businesswoman Sunanda Pushkar would be tying the knot in Tharoor's ancestral home at Kerala, but they will have a three-day long reception in Dubai, where Pushkar has long been based, reports Masala.com
The grand reception is scheduled fom August 29-31 in an undisclosed location.
Sunanda's wedding outfits and trousseau have been created by Dubai-based designer Anjali Chandiramani. Anjali tells Masala.com that the look Sunanda wanted for the wedding outfits was classic, "She wanted to go for a classic look with a flair of style, which is what I kept in mind while designing her sari. We've got many different looks in the trousseau, it's very contemporary and stylish considering she will have a lot of dinner parties to attend."
This would be the thrid marriage for Tharoor, whose divorce from second wife Christa Giles recently came through. It's the second marriage for Sunanda.
