Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Monica Bellucci, Drew Barrymore, Demi Moore… Reads like the line-up of a new Hollywood blockbuster? These stars — or some of them — are likely to star in Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala’s new Rs 300 crore film. The film will also star Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.

Nadiadwala, who has produced films like Hera Pheri and Welcome, is in talks with them for his film Jewel of India. He already has his director— it’s Rob Cohen, who has helmed movies like The Fast and The Furious and XXX. Dan Bradley, the stunt co-ordinator for The Bourne Ultimatum and SpiderMan-3, will do the stunts.

“The kind of movie we are making, it's path breaking cinema,” Nadiad-wala says. “It’ll change the economy. We are looking at 4,000 prints of the film.”

As for the Hollywood stars, “either Mr De Niro or Mr Pacino will definitely be in the movie,” he says, adding that he is “calm and confident” about such actors sharing screen space with Bachchan.

“We are in talks with Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Monica Bellucci, Drew Barrymore and also Demi Moore,” he says of the hotties. Slated to be a 2010 release, the movie is “a Hollywood project with Indian and international actors in it”, he adds.

Asked about comparisons with cousin Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq, which has Sylvester Stallone in a cameo, Nadiadwala retorts, “There is no comparison at all. De Niro or Pacino will not be in a cameo. Plus, this movie is being made by a Hollywood director."
