We bring you digs that B-town actors took at each other in the last week
Rani Mukerji-Abhishek Bachchan
Rani recently raked up a controversy by saying that her not being invited to Abhishek’s wedding to Aishwarya in 2007, is a proof of things having gone wrong between Abhishek and her. Rani was quoted as saying: “If a person chooses not to invite you to his wedding, you realise where you stand in his life. He has been married for years, we should all move on. I will always have fond memories of working with him.”
Sonam Kapoor-Ranbir Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor’s snide remarks at Ranbir Kapoor on television chat show Koffee With Karan, are well-known. But the actor has again lashed out at her Saawariya co-star. In an interview, Sonam is quoted as saying: “I don’t speak to Ranbir anymore. We are no longer friends. He doesn’t feature in my life at all. Also I have never had my heart broken by him.”
In a recent interview to a magazine, Priyanka Chopra said, "I don’t think Kareena likes me." Then again, at a recent press conference, Piggy Chops reportedly said that she considers Kareena as an actor but it’s a pity that Kareena doesn’t consider her one. This comment was in response to an earlier statement made by Kareena where she reportedly said, "I don’t think she is an actress."
Payal Rohatgi-Anurag Kashyap
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap came in defence of his director-friend Dibakar Banerjee after the latter was accused of casting couch by actor Payal Rohatgi. Kashyap even questioned Payal’s mental health and said, “I don’t know if it’s a publicity stunt. Payal Rohatgi is a slightly disturbed person. She probably needs help. We shouldn’t give importance to such issues.”
Shah Rukh Khan -Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan recently took a jab at Shah Rukh Khan after the latter won a Golden Kela Award in the worst actor category. Aamir was quoted as saying: “I love the Kela awards because the others are rubbish and sold.” The 3 Idiots actor also cheekily added, “Like someone recently gave the Best Actor award to Shah Rukh Khan.” Wonder what Shah Rukh has to say to that!
