Adam BediBuzz is that Ekta Kapoor will now be directing a new show for Balaji Telefilms. Auditions for it was recently held at the production house in Andheri. Over 400-500 aspiring actors turned up to try their luck since the Czarina of Indian TV was once again scouting for fresh faces.

A familiar face was Adam, Kabir Bedi’s son. He was with a girl named Sakshi. Everyone was asked to perform a two-bit scene. When it was their turn, Adam and Sakshi decided on a sizzling smooch. Bedi and Kapoor were unavailable for comment.

But Sakshi when contacted insisted that the kiss wasn’t impromptu but part of the scripted scene. She admits that Bedi was a complete stranger but insists that the kiss was justified. “It made the scene more believable and real,” she points out.

When asked if she would repeat the act with another unknown co-star, she says, “A kiss is a part of my profession. Anything is okay so long as the character and the story justifies it.”
