.Siliguri: It is close to Darjeeling, and when locals want to feel warmer, they head here. It’s the touch point for visitors wanting to travel to cities like Gangtok (Sikkim), Kalimpong or Darjeeling. The place has a small city-like feel to it and has retained its charm.
.Racetrack playa, USA: Located in one of the flattest places on the face of this planet are the strange and unexplained sailing stones of Racetrack Playa. It’s one of the strangest places I’ve ever visited and it experiences short winters and little rainfall.
.Stonehenge, UK: It’s one of the most spectacular sights ever. Boulders and rocks never seemed beautiful to me, but here, the Gods actually arranged them in various designs. They are so beautiful to look as they rest on each other. They may seem strange and look sculpted, but each boulder is a natural phenomenon.
.Lake District, UK: This place is a must visit and a mini heaven on earth. It is so peaceful and the water is the cleanest. It’s a two-hour drive from town, but the journey itself is so amazing that one does not even get tired.
.Cairo, Egypt: This place made me think that the only thing it has to offer is history, pyramids and mummies. I realised on reaching there how modern it is, and its importance as a tourist paradise.
