American reality television programme The Osbournes is said to be making a comeback, with Kelly, daughter of heavy metal legend Ozzy, being the centre of attention.
The programme, which started in 2002 and ended in 2005, will now see Kelly letting cameras follow her and fiance Luke Worrall, and her dad Ozzy, mum Sharon and daredevil brother Jack will also be featured. Filming for the MTV show starts today at the London home of Kelly, 24, and model Worrall.
“Kelly is TV gold. We’ve been wanting to do something with her for ages,” the Sun quoted a show source as saying. “MTV viewers know her well from her time on The Osbournes with the rest of her family so we know they’ll tune in, in droves.
“She is just the type of person we want on our channel – she’s young, smart and knows how to party. “And obviously we’re hoping the rest of her madcap family will get involved with the programme,” the source added. Cameras will follow her for the next three weeks, and record the couple’s chaotic home and work life as they plan their wedding, due later this year.
The series will also cover Kelly’s book tour and Brit Worrall, 19, as he works as a model. The show will launch in October. Bosses have yet to decide how many episodes there will be.
