A dinner hosted by the Asian Heritage Foundation (AHF) and Rajeev Sethi in honour of Dr Sam Pitroda for getting a Padma Bhushan and becoming the director of AHF.

The function also marked Basant Panchami celebrations. Traditional dancers and singers welcomed the guests. Delhi’s Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit came with son Sandeep Dikshit and stayed on for dinner. Others spotted at the do were politician Renuka Chowdhary, beauty expert Vandana Luthra, designers Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal and Tarun Tahiliani, French ambassador to India Jérôme Bonnafont, art scholar Dr Kapila Vatsyayan and Cardiologist Dr Naresh Trehan. Chefs from embassies like Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan made the evening a gastronomical treat.
