Even as television actors and real-life couple Apurva and Shilpa Agnihotri, who were found at the raided Mumbai rave party on Sunday night, await blood test results, the TV fraternity supports them unanimously.

“I’ve known Apu (Apurva) and Shilpa for years. I will never believe they could be part of something like this! I don’t think we need to jump on rooftops and give them character certificates because the truth will eventually prevail,” says actor Rakshanda Khan.

Actor Hiten Tejwani says, “I think it was a case of being at a wrong place at the wrong time for them.

I support them and believe that they would not have indulged in something that they should not.” Actor Maninee Mishra, too, stands by them: “Knowing Shilpa and Apurva, I support by them as I believe they would not have been involved in something like that.” Apurva had said in their defence, “We are innocent. We just went to have a good time at the party.”
