"Amitjiki voice hi kuchh aisi hai unko na nahi bol sakta," said Aamir Khan as the reason behind him agreeing to join Twitter. "And, when he (Amitabh Bachchan) asked me ‘So Aamir, when are joining Twitter?’, I was like ‘Yes, Amitji, bas karta hi hun."
Though Aamir’s not sure when that’ll happen, he nonetheless plans to go for video chatting on his Facebook profile to fight imposters. “At least, then you’ll know that it’s the real me. Dekh toh sakenge kisse baat kar rahe hai,” he said.
The actor, in the Capital as the brand ambassador of a mobile phone, spoke candidly about most things, except, of course, Shah Rukh Khan. “We have immense respect for each other as actors,” is how he summed it up.
Asked about what he feels about corporal punishment in schools, Aamir referred to his film Taare Zameen Par. “The film says it all about how to deal with little children,” he said. When someone said to him that the new phone he launched had features of a “tall, sexy lady”, Aamir joked, “I already have a short-sexy lady, a tall one won’t be a bad addition.”
