Vidya Balan, 34, and Siddharth Roy Kapur, 38, don't believe in publicising their relationship. After being together since 2010, the two are now all set to tie the knot but are keeping mum about the wedding.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee will be helming Vidya's wedding trousseau which comprises 18 hand-crafted saris. "She has placed an order for 18 saris with us. Out of that, two will be bridal wear and rest can be worn by the bride during the day. Apparently, Vidya will be getting married in the morning according to Tamil traditions. Though most of the saris are ready, the ones that will be based on Madras silk, will be done by Pepsi (Sabyasachi's nick name) himself. We are waiting for him to come back from London. On his way back he is going to stop over in Chennai to source the silk," one of Sabya's staff members told Mumbai Mirror.
"The deadline that we are working on for delivering the saris is December 1," the tabloid quoted the source as saying. This has cemented rumours of a December-wedding for the couple.
The marriage will apparently be held in a south Indian temple, which will be followed by a reception in Mumbai.
Vidya has also taken leave during the second-week of December from the shooting of Ghanchakkar, where she will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi. The film is co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala.
