Nude-yoga guru Vivek Mishra is furious after recent reports of him being thrashed out of a Mumbai party by model-turned-corporate professional, Candy Brar, surfaced last week. “This is absolutely rubbish,” says Mishra, who was a contestant at an ongoing reality TV show, where Brar also participated, albeit after Mishra’s exit.
During his stay, Mishra had made some personal comments about Candy. According to a report published last week, Mishra tried to gate-crash into a Sunburn party, which was incidentally organised by a firm, whose marketing is handled by Brar. It also stated that Brar “thrashed” Vivek out of the party as he did not have valid passes. The report was published after Brar sent out a press release stating the same.
“Vivek Mishra is not the kind of person who knows how to respect women. He spoiled my image and said things which are not true. He is not capable to stand in front of me.” Brar had said.
Mishra however rubbishes the whole report. “If it wasn’t for me, Candy would not have been approached by the (reality) show. And I did have valid passes. As I entered the VIP lounge, I saw Candy. She smiled at me but I didn’t reciprocate. She must have felt insulted. Soon after I was told by her team that my passes weren’t valid and I immediately left. I did not have any confrontation with her,” says Mishra, adding, “Now, me and my parents are undergoing immense humiliation. All my relatives and friends are calling to ask if I am okay or if I got hurt while being thrashed!”
When asked about the same, Brar’s spokesperson however denied having ever stated that Vivek was beaten up. “By ‘thrashed out’ of the party we meant that Vivek was asked to leave the party. He must be confused with his English,” says her spokesperson. To that, Vivek laughs saying, “Who uses that kind of an English? It’s misleading. And who issues a press release after asking someone to leave a party! Candy is desperately trying to stay in the limelight because she wants to get back to the reality show!”
