entertainment Updated: Dec 26, 2008 17:57 IST

Even as Bollywood celebs are fighting terror blues, Big B is now teaming up with Karan Johar to build a replica of the Moulin Rouge in Paris.

The project is apparently expected to compete with Sydney's Opera House, Paris' Moulin Rouge, Thailand's Phuket's FantaSea, Singapore's Esplanade, London's Browadway and India's shobiz.

Slated to launch by June 2009, top Bollywood actors and performers and the overseas entertainment industry will be seen walking the red carpet.

Apparently sources from the Great Indian Nautanki company say that live performances by Bollywood icons will be a regular feature.

The opera house with a giant auditorium and state-of-the-art equipment, will make sure that night life in Gurgaon are never going to be the same again. The centre will seat about a 100 people. Called Tourism and Entertainment Centre, this 8-acre Rs 100 cr-plus opera house is being developed at Sector 29, Gurgaon.
