Warne refutes botox reports

On Saturday night, 41-year-old cricketer Shane Warne, went on the defensive, only this time he wasn’t supporting his IPL team Rajasthan Royals. The cricketer was lashing out against a report in a UK tabloid, which said his “new youthful looks” were courtesy a facelift.

“Questions re facelift / Botox etc — are absolute rubbish. I am 86 kg - lost 7kg and are close to being the fittest I have ever been,” he said, in the first of several comments on the subjects on the microblogging site Twitter.

He spoke about his diet, his exercise regimen and how he has been on a quest to get fitter for the past five months, adding, “I am flattered that people think I look younger... it seems hardwork paid off.” He then went on to talk about his cosmetic routine and some products that he uses. “Yes had teeth whitened ( 18 months ago ). New moisturisers for my skin have made a big difference too... Yes, I’m still a man hahaha,” he wrote around midnight.



Fans however didn’t buy his explanations, saying that Warne may have gone all out on his looks to impress his new girlfriend, Hollywood actor Liz Hurley, 45.
