Italian superstar and George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has decided to be comfortable in her own skin, rather than wear an animal's.
The 32-year-old actor is the latest celebrity to join the PETA's iconic anti-fur campaign and pose nude for the photoshoot.
Canalis stripped down and stars in a sexy PETA ad to help spread the word about the cruelty involved in fur, PETA reports.
"I decided to go nude because I think that nudity always creates a big reaction," she explains on the PETA website. "That is what is required to keep people's attention on such a brutal practice... These poor animals are electrocuted, skinned alive, drowned, and bludgeoned just for the sake of fashion."
The do-gooder has an enviable body to capture one's attention and spread PETA's message about the immeasurable amount of suffering caused to animals - foxes, minks, rabbits, and even dogs and cats - to make every fur coat, vest, hat or fur-trimmed accessory.
"Don't buy fur," Canalis urges. "Even a little trim - your gloves or your bag or your jackets. You must remember that animals don't have a voice. You must be their voice. Never be afraid to speak up."
