John Abraham’s famous derriere, which he gave the whole world a glimpse of in Dostana, seems to be valued a lot more than he imagined. Contrary to reports that the handsome hunk is looking to insure his prized assets at Rs 10 crore, we learnt that as many as four companies are chasing him to cover his bum.
According to a source close to Abraham, "Reliance, Tata, Aviva and another new entrant in the insurance business have approached John, offering policies ranging from Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore to cover his butt. But what is most astounding is that they are not charging him any premium."
His official spokesperson confirmed the news saying they "didn’t anticipate that insurance companies will inundate John with not only such high cover, but also offer to waive off the premium completely. It’s really surprising". The actor reluctantly admitted, "This entire thing is something that has come from the insurance companies only. Nothing is finalised yet. We’re examining the various terms and conditions."
Our source added that Abraham’s team of lawyers is looking at the legalities. As soon as the terms and conditions are mutually agreed upon, the paperwork will be completed. “In about a week or so, things should be finalised,” he asserted.
After Jennifer Lopez set the trend of insuring body parts in Hollywood, having bought a US $ 27 million policy for her derriere, it remains to be seen if Abraham sets a similar trend in Bollywood.
