Salaam my sizzling reshmi kebabs! How goes the weekend with you? I’m taking off for the day, to chill in my lakeside chalet surrounded by mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Of course, I too need a break after all the hectic work during the week. But before I zoom off in my Jaguar, read on for all the gup that’s yet to reach the corridors of tinsel town for others to shup about.
For starters, it looks as if Anil Kapoor has added another first to his credit. The actor-producer had gone to Antilla, Mukesh Ambani’s 27-storey residential tower at Altamount Road with a print of his recently released production, Aisha.
Yeah, my corporate khabru tells me that Mukesh bhai was quite impressed by the reports he heard about the movie and Sonam Kapoor’s performance in it. So, he called Anil to say that he had heard so much about his film that he was very keen to see it.
Bas, aur kya? The actor-filmmaker reached Antilla on Wednesday evening with a print of his movie, to show it to the business tycoon at his inhouse theatre. Of course, Mukesh bhai and his family gave a royal treatment to Anil bhai, who’s also believed to have wished that his beti Sonam was there too.
Oh, the abhinetri is in Canada, shooting for Anees Bazmee’s Thank You with Akshay Kumar, so naturally, she couldn’t be present for the special screening for Ambani saab. Anyway, there’s always a next time. Hai na AK?
