After Arpita Khan's wedding, Bollywood's original brat and her brother Salman Khan seems to be emerging as the industry's Mr Congeniality.
During the wedding, his new-found friendship with Shah Rukh Khan, after five years of cold war, was making news. And now, after the reception, he has made up with photographers who had banned him a few months ago.
The photographers were present in full force at Taj Lands End, where Arpita Khan's reception was held on Friday. They not only took pictures of Salman's family and guests but of the star as well.
The secretary of Bombay News Photographers' Association (BNPA), Rajneesh Kakade, was quoted in DNA as saying, "The photographers got an invitation from Salman for the reception and we thought it was a good way to come together and lift the ban. It meant that Salman has no problem with us. We thought the actor had a problem with us because of the way his bodyguards behaved with us and consequently enforced the ban."
It all started after a fight between the press photographers and Salman's security team in July this year. While the photogs alleged they were mistreated, Salman's team accused them of being aggressive and disrupting the launch of song Devil from Kick.
The star was banned by the association and only four to five photographers turned up when Salman launched the latest season of Bigg Boss 8. The organisation says that they have lifted the ban now and will henceforth click the star.
