Why Paris staggered out of a nightclub

After a disastrous interview with Barabara Walters, abysmal ratings for her new reality show and a DUI charge for her brother, Paris Hilton took to a nightclub for a much needed break and staggered out looking rather shaky on her feet!

Paris Hilton decided to take time off for some debauchery, probably to live down her experience on Barbara Walters' The View and other things that are careening downhill for the heiress. Dressed in a green and black dress and black boots, the heiress was holding on to one of her girlfriends while leaving a nightclub in Los Angeles.

If reports are to be believed, she looked weary and shaky on her feet. She staggered out of the back entrance of The Beverly Nightclub, clutching on to her friend's arm as if for dear life.

The View from the bottom
Paris Hilton's infamy received a blow when Barbara Walters took to asking the heiress about her 'unconventional' ways. The veteran anchor then took several digs at Paris' lifestyle, controversies and her pampered upbringing.

The New York Post reports that Paris then took her frustrations out by shouting at an unsuspecting producer backstage. But she contends the Post's account of things and told E's Guilana Rancic, "I think (the alleged feud) was really blown out of proportion. It wasn't that big of a deal. I wasn't screaming at producers backstage. That's not true."

The World according to Paris
The disastrous interview aside, Paris' new reality show The World according to Paris has not raked in too much for the heiress. The ratings are dismal and the reviewers are trashing the show.

Brian Lowry of Variety writes, 'Once an object of morbid fascination, the latest version of Paris Hilton 3.0 evokes more sympathy than curiosity. Insisting she's not "famous for being famous" and that paparazzi hound her, she nevertheless returns in yet another reality show.'

But Paris is blaming the channel and the timeslot for the show's poor performance.
"Paris is furious that the show didn't premier at the time it was supposed to,' an insider told Popeater.com.

All's not well in The World according to Paris, it seems.
