Prince William and Kate Middleton watched their own wedding on TV after kissing in front of billions of people- it has emerged.
The latest edition of Vanity Fair magazine has revealed that the couple changed out of their wedding clothes and into robes to watch the television coverage of their wedding on April 29, which was seen by an estimated global audience of 2 billion, according to the New York Daily News.
It also revealed new behind-the-scenes details about the couple's wedding day and honeymoon with a previously unseen photo of the beaming couple on the cover.
"It was just the two of them, and they were so excited to actually see it on the television," the Age quoted a palace aide as telling the magazine.
"Harry joined them afterwards, and they were all in high spirits," the palace aide said.
The article said that Prince William decided to delay their honeymoon and go back to work in an effort to calm the hysteria surrounding the couple.
"William wanted the honeymoon to be a secret. By going back to work before leaving for their honeymoon, they were able to escape. It was a deliberate decoy," a source told the magazine.
