She is the original bombshell of Bollywood. Never known to mince words, Bipasha Basu flies off the handle as soon as she’s asked about her relationship with John Abraham. "I think enough has already been said about it. There’s no need for further clarifications," says Bipasha, adding, "It’s my life and I will continue to live it the way I want to. There’s no need for me to discuss anything with anyone."

Bipasha’s latest comment comes amidst rumours that John’s solo appearance on Koffee with Karan has strongly nailed the end of their 10-year long relationship. Buzz is that the two have split. Bipasha quickly went on to post on Twitter: "Everything is fine with John and me." Later, her tweet read that she can’t be answerable to the media any longer because, "No matter how open you are, there is no respect ever."

Personal issues might plague the sizzling actor, but her professional life is looking up with her being clearly excited about her role as Zoey in Bipsthe upcoming film, Dum Maaro Dum (DMD). "I share a fantastic chemistry with (South star) Rana Daggubati in the film. You will see it in the new song (to be aired soon)," she says. In fact, she is ecstatic about the "great response to DMD’s first look."

According to her, the sheer energy, treatment and music of DMD gives it a very fresh look: "The film is very new age and classy."

But wasn’t she reportedly unhappy over Deepika Padukone’s item number getting prominence? "Yeah, we had fistfights too. I was thinking of taking a picture of Deepika and me embroiled in a fistfight and putting it up on Twitter for the media," laughs Bipasha. "I think we all need to grow up from creating stories of fights between heroines. All of us are comfortable in our respective spaces. Also, we are no longer kids and we pretty much get along. The song is already a chartbuster. And I am sure it will work for us."

In a few days, the “super busy” Bipasha leaves for Orcha in Madhya Pradesh to shoot for the Hollywood film, Singularity. The cast and crew of Rolland Joffe’s film have already reached the location. “It’s not just the film, but also its making that has me thrilled. I have never been through any film school. The small exercises Rolland put me through to make me feel at ease was a new experience,” she says.

Even as she juggles several assignments, she is ready to launch her fitness DVD, Love Yourself – Part 2 for which she will start shooting in July. “It’s not a secret that I am really into fitness. It’s very heartening that the first part of Love Yourself was a big success and the numbers are still going strong. I am very enthused about the second part,” she says with a smile.
