Prince William and Kate Middleton will be playing hit Abba songs at their reception it has been revealed. Tracks by the smash-hit Swedish group are being lined up especially for fan Kate, 29.
"It’ll be a wedding disco like those enjoyed by millions of other happy families and friends up and down the country," the Sun quoted a Royal source as saying.
The DJ is being given a list of special requests by club entrepreneur Guy Pelly, best man Prince Harry’s closest friend.
There will be a 1980s theme for the knees-up with hits by Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran and Culture Club blaring out for Wills, as well as the Abba classics for Kate.
"William and Kate are astutely aware their every move during the wedding will be under scrutiny around the world," the source said.
"That is why they want a fantastic after-party so they can relax just like any other happy couple.
"They will be driven from the banquet to St James’ Palace where Kate will change out of her wedding dress and William will swap his uniform for something much less formal.
"Then they will return to Buckingham Palace for the next stage, hosted by proud dad Prince Charles.
"They want the dance floor rammed and there will be a mix of music - including some Dizzee Rascal for Will," the source added.
