For years and years we’ve read the letters you’ve sent us, telling us how much you enjoy the magazine we put out for you every week and asking time and again for a bigger, fatter Brunch.

For years and years we’ve wished we could give you what you wanted – a truly power-packed Brunch, bigger, better (if such a thing is possible!) and more beautiful.

And now we’ve done it! Step outside this fine Sunday morning. Run – don’t walk – to your favourite magazine stand. And there you’ll see it. Brunch Quarterly, a glamorous, glossy, gi-normous (136 pages!) magazine from the Hindustan Times and the team that brings you Brunch.

Brunch QuarterlyBrunch Quarterly is packed to the gills with stories that’ll make you think, photos that’ll make you gasp, info you really can use and a short story and humour and everything, basically, that we’ve longed to put into Brunch week after week, but never had the space to do. Look closely at this page and you’ll see what we mean. And this is just a small selection from Brunch Quarterly!

Buy it. We guarantee you a good time.

Behind the scenes
We’ve got it covered!

The Bandra-Worli Sealink is an awesome spectacle. But it’s even more awesome when you gaze at it from the luxury suites of the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra, Mumbai. That’s what we found ourselves doing as we walked around the hotel’s top two floors, choosing locations for the first-ever Brunch Quarterly cover shoot, starring Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar.

That done, we went through our final checklist over a pot of tea before the start of the shoot. That was the brief period of calm before Kat and KJo breezed in, along with photographer Prasad Naik and his crew, and the shoot began.

What followed was hours of painstaking work by everyone involved, from the stylists to the celebrities to the crew.

Karan and Katrina hadn’t actually – ever – spent more than a few minutes with each other before this shoot. But gradually, the initial awkwardness dissolved and soon the two were getting along famously.

The shoot proceeded briskly and all too soon, it was over! There was just time for a group picture, before the celebs went their separate ways, leaving us with a jumble of memories, the images you see here, and those you’ll see in the Quarterly.
