NEW DELHI: Delhi’s maximum temperature dropped below 40 degrees Celsius on Saturday, with overnight rain making the weather pleasant in the morning.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.7 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal. The minimum was recorded as 25.4degrees Celsius, three-degrees below normal.
The Safdarjung observatory received 1.6 mm rainfall till 8.30am.
Saturday turned out to be humid with the humidity levels oscillating between 92% and 36%.
According to Met officials, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm on Sunday as well.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be between 39 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius.
