Make sure this summer it’s your sparkling bare back, and not the scorching sun, that sets the temperature soaring. The time to sport ravishing backless cholis and dresses is back. We get you some quick tips on how to get that muchdesired, spotless back.

Tips to get a stunning back

Hair on the back should be waxed or bleached at regular intervals.

If you have any kind of sunburns or sun tan patches, use a tan remover regularly and those patches will eventually fade away.

When applying sunscreen on your back, do not exceed a limit of 45 SPF.

Apply an astringent or toner on a daily basis.

Proper exfoliation is vital to avoid the accumulation of dead skin. Body scrubs help in getting rid of dull and dark skin. In case the scrub does not have oil in it, do remember to moisturise.

Scrubbing must be done at least once a week. Those who have sensitive skin or do not prefer to use a scrub, should use a shower gel and loofah it.

To prepare a body scrub at home, mix a little sugar with some salt, honey and olive oil to form a paste and use on the back for maximum three to four minutes in rotating movement. Another body scrub can be prepared easily at home by mixing besan and dry rose petals in yogurt.

Regular massage with a glowing gel will surface healthiest skin. You can apply vitamin E capsules for deep rejuvenation or choose light oils such as apricot, peach kernel and grape seed.

Do not indulge in a skin polishing treatment often as it has chemicals that can harm the skin in the long run.

Pamper your back with effective treatments such as hydrocleansing, blackhead removing and steaming.

These go a long way.
