As the temperatures cool down and vacations become a distant memory, our attention is turning towards fall style for the new season.
What better way to shake things up for the start of a new fashion year than with one of these hottest hair styles?
Ariana Grande and Chrissy Teigen are taking their back-to-school style shake-up seriously, with both stars unveiling new bangs over the summer.
Popstar Ariana has opted for heavy blow-dried bangs that cover her forehead, while model Chrissy has debuted a wispier, lighter style perfect for the transition into the colder season. Both makeovers underline the power of a simple fringe to transform your face without opting for a drastic cut or colour change.
However, if a drastic colour change is what you’re after then this season the only way is blonde. From Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner to pinup model Ashley Graham, celebrities have been hitting the bleach as a way of holding off on those post-summer blues.
If you don’t want to go all-out peroxide then make like Graham and opt for an ombré style, lightening the mid-section and ends of your hair respectively for an edgy look that is easy to maintain. Jane the Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez also recently opted for this approach, overhauling her style with lighter highlights and a hearty trim.
in a room with a bunch of people I love, looking at this cover made me cry. I FUCKING DID IT. SEPTEMBER VOGUE. this is the coolest thing ever! can't thank you enough Anna, for giving me the honor. @voguemagazine’s September issue, photographed by @mertalas and @macpiggott and styled by @tonnegood! It’s the oldest trick in the beauty book -- lopping a few inches off your tresses can feel like a new beginning in more ways than one. The choppy bob has been going strong for a while now, but it is still very much on point.
Recent high-fashion converts include Cara Delevingne, who chopped her long blonde locks to collarbone length back in July, and Kendall Jenner, who cut her signature tresses on the set of US Vogue’s prestigious September issue cover shoot. The great thing about this style is that it works on messier or curlier styles too, meaning you don’t have to look picture perfect to be on trend.
